フラクタルもそうなんですが、意味のあるデータから生み出される無作為のようなグラフィックがたまらなく好きなんです。個人のセンスだけで完全なランダムを表現するのって不可能だと思いませんか？少なくとも自分には無理です。
こういう視覚化は情報デザインという観念だけじゃなくて、単純に奇麗なグラフィックとして楽しんでもいいですよね。素材となるデータはAPIとしていろんなところから提供されてるわけですし、デザイン出力のみの機能としてのマッシュアップサービスもありかなと。
Fact is stranger than fiction. Necessity is more beautiful than chance. I love a kind of this graphics as fractal. These are totally amazing. I'm thinking about MashUp service that generate information graphics from internet API for just visual design. Not bad, is it?
